Its infrastructure layer is open source under the Apache 2.0 license, making it fully auditable and free from vendor lock-in.

Rational AI will rely on Xference's Italian infrastructure, located in Italian-owned data centers on Italian soil (Aruba, IT3 in Ponte San Pietro, Bergamo).
